Whom is it suitable for?

enovidTM spray is recommended for use before or after contact with or exposure to viruses and being present in a high-risk environment - public transport, working with a crowd, being next to a patient or quarantined person, mass events, etc.

 

How is the spray used?

Insert the tip of the bottle spout into a nostril and squeeze. The vial discharges a measured quantity of substance. enovidTM may be used two to three times a day, and following suspicion of exposure to viruses – up to five times a day.

 

From what age may enovidTMbe used?

The spray is safe to use and is approved by the Ministry of Health in Israel for adults and youngsters from the age of 12.

 

What does it contain?

The spray is based on nitric oxide, a natural nanomolecule occurring in the body and in many food products.

 

How does it work?

The compound in the spray serves as a mechanical and chemical barrier that protects against the accumulation of viruses in the nasal cavity, which is the “gateway” to the body for viruses that attack the airways.

Who is behind the spray?

enovidTM spray was developed in Canada by Dr. Gili Regev, the CEO of the biotech company SaNOtize. It is made in Israel, is marketed and distributed by Tradis-Gat. The spray was approved by the Ministry of Health in January 2021.

 

How effective is enovidTM against COVID19?

Independent test laboratories have confirmed that the spray has been able to suppress the activity of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the body within 2 minutes, (including alpha and gamma variants). Trial held in the United Kingdom have shown that the spray was able to reduce the concentration of the virus in COVID-19 patients by 95% in 24 hours and 99% in 72 hours.
